Companies may face penalty if not filing data

The companies reluctant to split data with the government may come in trouble. They have to pay Rs 1,000 a day. parliamentary standing committee examining the Collection of Statistics Bill 2007 was reported that the company who are not fulfill the provision were have to pay the fine and the government should be more strict they may be increase there fine rates more than 1000.They also reported that a section within the Government locking up to make sure that companies give the necessary statistics. However, it was also fraught with the risk of misuse and government officials to harass companies could use provisions like imprisonment. Government faces the problem of lack of data of the companies for that government introduces Collection of Statistics Bill 2007 that maintains the profile, reports, and data of the companies.

Nokia battery cases causes Rs. 8 crore to company

In India near 1.8 lakh Nokia costumers applied for replacement of BL-5C batteries. According to the saying of the official unit of Nokia company that till now 30 lakh request have been said to the company. They also said that in India till now any case of battery heat up is reported. Due to all these battery heat up case the company has to face a fall in net shares but after all the company is enjoying 70% shares in market.

In the replacement of the battery the company cost Rs 410 to each piece. Because the market price of the BL- 5C battery is only Rs. 720 and the transport charges for the replacement of battery charges Rs. 50 to the company.
In this hole program the company has to face of total expenditure of nearly Rs. 7 to 8 crore. Till now the Nokia company replace 95.000 batteries to their consumers.
